We've had the Coleman Woodsman chairs for years. They are very lightweight if you are looking for something to take backpacking. My son and I just finished a 40 mile round trip backpacking trip and I bought this Woodsman II chair because we brought along a friend of my son's this time and needed an extra.
This chair is basically identical in style to the older model except this one has a different fabric and the aluminum has a finish now. Let me tell you that after a long day of hiking, this surely beats sitting on logs or boulders. This chair costs a fraction of what you'd pay for the expensive type you see at a lot of REI and similar stores, yet it weighs less than 2 lbs and is a lot more comfortable than any of those more expensive chairs I've tried out. It's a winner hands down for me.

Exactly what I wanted and expected. Like the camp stools I've had in the past, but with the addition of a back so you can use as a stool or as a small chair.

Worked well, strapped it on the outside of my pack. It weighs right at 3 Lbs. I'm 6'2" and 220Lbs, and it was comfortable to sit in. My buddy has a tri-pod stool and hated it in comparison.
