This is a large, heavy, bulky tent good for car camping where weight and bulk are not considerations. This is definitely not a backpacking tent. I bought this tent because it was very inexpensive and was looking for a tent to use a few times a year when we go car camping up in Maine.Pros: PRICE-for under $100 you just can't beat the price ROOM-this tent is very roomy. If you want to bring a lot of stuff, which we do when car camping, this tent will accommodate it all. HIGH-I'm 5'10" and can almost stand up in the tent. WATERPROOF-the first night we used this tent was in Acadia National Park in Maine it just poured buckets. Heavy rain all night long. The tent was dry as a bone in side. RUGGED FLOOR-the tent has a very thick, rugged floor that comes up the side walls about 5". Absolutely no need for a ground cloth. Cons: DIFFICULT TO SET UP-I've had a lot of tents in... Good design... assembled it for first time on site at night with no problems... really easy. Also recommended the additional Coleman pin kit.
