We purchased these from amazon and took them camping last week. We were VERY happy with their softness and insulation! Our night tempratures were 45-50 degrees and they kept us warm but not overheated. We really like the scooped top so our pillows didn't slide off and get on the tarp. My husband is 6 ft 3 inches and the extra length was great for his height. I like the extra width so I can turn over without feeling like I'm trapped. I am not a backpacker or serious outdoor type, and despite years of Scouting and family camping have never enjoyed sleeping outdoors, so am only commenting on use of this sleeping bag indoors.The lining fabric feels good, not clammy or cold, against the skin. Between that and its light weight, it almost feels like a down comforter. I felt very comfortable in a slightly cool room--not too hot or cold. The extra length and width made it comfortable even for my 6'3" son. It rolls up easily to a fairly compact size for storage. I've had quite a few sleeping bags over the years. This one is, by far, the most comfortable, and an excellent value. I'm very pleased with it. |
