| 10 of 10 people found the following review helpful  OK, but the stove grate is better, By This review is from: Coleman Road Trip Cast-Iron Griddle (Sports) This works fairly well except that if your grill isn't very level then the slots/vents on the edges can "swallow" what you're cooking. We've found that in most cases it's better to use the stove grate accessory with a pan on top of that. Don't even think of cooking bacon on it (all the grease will run to the openings and give you a fire, we've used it for toasting bagels or warming up other items. This griddle has a number of large slit-like holes along the edges, which is fine if you're using any highly viscous materials like pancake batter or something. But if you use oil or other thin/watery foods, it'll run right down into the burners. I grilled onions with oil the other day for my polish sausages and dropped a good 2 tbs of oil in the grill before giving in and using spray intermittently.
